On Saturday, May 17, 2025, LIVING BERLIN celebrated its 25th anniversary together with customers, partners, designers and friends of the company - with a big open day. The entire building was open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to allow visitors to experience interior design in all its diversity.
Around 40 renowned brand showrooms took part, including: Auping Plaza, Bang & Olufsen, BoConcept, Bretz, C. Bechstein Centrum Berlin, Fennobed, Iris Galerie, Kerana, Klingenberg Berlin, Lambert, Lars Leppin, Lichthaus Mösch, Ligne Roset, Markilux, Metalspot, minimum (USM Vitra Store), MÖVE, Nicoleta Gallery, Niessing, Nyhues, POET Audio, Poggenpohl, Roche Bobois, Röshults, SieMatic, TEAM 7, Walter Knoll and many more.
The extensive supporting program offered numerous highlights:
- In the foyer, the guests were welcomed directly by the minimum-Anniversary exhibition "Turning point at home @ LIVING BERLIN" with selected design icons from the past 25 years.
- Bang & Olufsen presented the new Atelier collection - accompanied by an elegant champagne reception.
- In the Nicoleta Gallery a large anniversary picture was created together with visitors.
- C. Bechstein offered exciting insights into the fine art of piano making.
- Nyhues used an original loom to show how carpets are made by hand.
- With Markilux guests were able to test their strength in handling awning fabrics.
- The Bretz Flagship Store celebrated the premiere of the new collection "Manyara" - with a personal visit from Norbert Bretz.
There were also celebrations on the roof: The ALICE Rooftop & Garden hosted a gin & drinks workshop, accompanied of course by the breathtaking view over Berlin's Design District.
Musical highlights were provided by the live band Leeman and the Gangthe popular children's duo Me & Mr. Meyer and DJ Reeno. The magician Emil Kowalewsky enchanted young and old alike with close-up tricks. Culinary delights accompanied the day with freshly prepared ice cream and espresso.
The open day was not only a celebration of the anniversary, but also a declaration of love to the world of interior design. LIVING BERLIN would like to thank all guests, exhibitors and partners for this successful day.
