At the first November edition of BUBBLES & BEATS we welcome Wiebke Horn, costume director at the German Opera Berlin. In conversation with Stephanie Salziger she provides insights into the fascinating world of stage, costume and artistic collaboration - from the first sketch to the big performance.

Wiebke Horn completed an apprenticeship as a tailor at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen and studied stage and costume design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. During her studies, she assisted Frank Philipp Schlößmann for many years at the three opera houses in Berlin and the Lyric Opera Chicago.

She has been working in opera, dance and drama for over 20 years - with engagements at home and abroad, including at the Opera de Nice, the National Drama Theater in Kaunas, the Aspire Center in Doha, as well as at numerous German theaters.
