With LIVING FRAMES the LIVING BERLIN from February 14 to 22, 2025 into an inspiring cinematic landscape - the first floor became the stage for a very special short film festival about architecture, design and the moving image to coincide with the Berlinale.
The opening ceremony as part of Bubbles & Beats was a complete success: numerous guests from the film, design and creative scene celebrated the start of the festival together - accompanied by sparkling champagne, inspiring conversations and a lively atmosphere.
In four walk-in film cubes, renowned partners such as NOWNESS, Architectuul, Attention Berlin and the Silver Frame Festival a carefully curated selection of short films - quiet, poetic, surprising. Equipped with headphones, visitors immersed themselves in fascinating cinematic perspectives on our built environment.
The festival was accompanied by an impressive exhibition: Interior highlights from the LIVING BERLIN stores met atmospheric photographic works by Thomas Plattwhose city walks reinterpret Berlin architecture in an artistic way.
The lounges and presentation areas turned into small, lively meeting places during the Berlinale week - film fans, design lovers and random visitors got talking, were inspired and enjoyed the special combination of film, space and design.
LIVING FRAMES was a complete success - and an impressive example of how lively and culturally diverse an interior design house like LIVING BERLIN can be. We are already looking forward to the continuation of this unique format!
